On Monday, Google crossed Microsoft in terms of market valuation and became the second richest firm of the tech world. Google is now only behind the Apple which has market capitalization just above $618 billion.

 Google Is Now More Valuable than Microsoft

Google has market capitalization of $249.1 billion which is now more than the Microsoft’s market capitalization that is $247.2 billion.

Google is dominating search market while Android and YouTube are dominating in their field. Android is the key player which has boosted the growth of Google. Developers are also taking interest in Android apps.

Microsoft’s windows phone market is also struggling and bing is also unable to mark it place in front of Google. Windows 8, that is going to launch at the end of this month will decide the future of Microsoft. Because Windows 8 will run on computers and tablets both, so it will help it to get some market share in mobile and tablets market as well.

Some experts also claims that Apple has no more space to grow as its iPhone 5 faced much criticism  Google has a chance to overtake Apple, if it continues its growth. But Apple always proved them wrong each and every time.
