Idea launches 3G dongle with 2 GB free cloud storage

Idea has launched a new 3G dongle with three key features. These three features are Internet access, 2 GB free cloud storage for one year and a cloud messenger+. Cloud Messenger+ is a cloud based services that allows unlimited messaging between cloud users.

This new dongle has a cloud share option which allows users to share pictures, music, videos and documents. Users can also use this cloud feature for data recovery and backup.

This 3G dongle is capable of download speed up to 7.2 MBPS and upload speed up to 5.76 MBPS. This dongle comes with auto install software with cloud plug-in. It also has a microSD card slot that support memory card up to 32 GB.

Announcing the launch Sashi Shankar, chief marketing officer, Idea Cellular said, “Cloud is the new technology, and we are the first mobile operator to introduce this into the Indian market. The new 3G dongle will enable consumers to take even greater advantage of its fast data connectivity at home, office and on-the-go, and additional option to store and share files over cloud.”

This 3G dongle is available for Rs. 1,799 in all Idea outlets across 22 circles.
