Mountain Lion Hits 3 Million Downloads in Just 4 Days

Few days back, Apple has released its newest version of MAC operating system, OS X Mountain Lion. According to Apple, It has received more than 3 million downloads in just four days of availability. It makes it the most successful operating system in Apple’s history.

“Just a year after the incredibly successful introduction of Lion, customers have downloaded Mountain Lion over three million times in just four days, making it our most successful release ever,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.

This operating system is available for $19.90. It comes with more than 200 new features and enhancements which includes wide-ranging integration of iOS features, like Notification Center, Apple’s Game Center, and iMessage.

According to Apple, “OS X Mountain Lion brings a lot of great things from iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch to the Mac. You can send iMessages. Get your Mac in on Game Center. Receive notifications. And more. And with iCloud, now your Mac works even better with your iOS devices.”
