Samsung Launched Mobile Music Service, Music Hub

Samsung has also announced an all in one mobile music service, Music Hub. This music service offers your music in one integrated mobile and web service. This service also allows users to upload their own music collection to the cloud server and discover new music with recommendations from 19 million songs available.

With this new service, Samsung is trying to compete Spotify, Google Music and Apple iTunes Match.

These are the main features of this service:

  • Scan and Match Cloud Locker that decreases upload time and ensure high-quality playback. You get 100 GB of storage for all unmatched songs and it stays automatically updated across all authorized devices.
  • Catalog of millions of songs which you can stream or purchase, with unlimited plays and no advertisements. You can also share songs with friends, and view lyrics and album information.
  • It has personal radio and programmed stations based on songs and artists you love, or browse genre stations recommended and tailor-crafted by the Music Hub team.
  • Discover great new music all the time with customized recommendations for songs, artists, albums and radio stations. The more you listen, the better recommendations you’ll get.
  • It is Optimized for Mobile, specifically for Samsung device that offers advanced streaming and downloading options that let you save storage space, play music when offline, and cut down on cellular data usage.
  • Users can also access their music library and the Music Hub catalog/store online.

Free version of this service allow users to see 30 sec preview of songs. To access unlimited music, users will have to upgrade to a premium account for €/£9.99 per month.
