MeeGo 1.2 update for Nokia N9 goes live

Nokia has pushed the v1.2 update for MeeGo which is 284MB in size. This new MeeGo 1.2update takes up to 40 minutes in installation.

This new version supports folders on home screen which allows users to manage folders and files easily. Updates for camera includes several enhancements which includes enable/disable flash icon with red eye, flash on for video recording, and new video filters. It has integrated Dropbox account support which allows users to easily share files to Dropbox.

It also has some browser improvements in which history appears below  the top sites section. Copy and paste is now supported within the browser, and you can save passwords. Fonts size is slightly larger in the UI. Now music player also support for playlist creation.

You can start the installation straight from the N9, just check for updates if you haven’t received a notification already.
