Aakash Tablet, Cheapest Tablet of World, Feature list

Aakash, the cheapest tablet of the world launched and made in India. It is available for Rs 2,250 which aims to bring india in top of IT world. This tablet is launched by DataWind, in association with IIT Rajasthan.

Under NME-ICT, the government intends to deliver 10 million tablets to post-secondary students across India. The target price of the 10 million units is Rs 1,750 per unit.

This low cost Aakash tablet has some smart features. It will come on market under the brand name of UbiSlate with a one year warranty. Company will begin selling the tablet through retail stores by the end of November at Rs 2,999.

We can not say when the tablet will be in market for purchase, but the success of this tablet will surely open the way for low cost Android tablets in the world market. It will also force companies like Samsung to cut the price for their taablets.
