Large TVs have become increasingly popular, but there is a limit to how big a television most people can practically fit in their living room. WZATCO is taking the big-screen experience further with its new Yuva Spectra projector, which can create a screen of up to 120 inches without needing a 120-inch TV.
The Yuva Spectra is a smart projector with native Full HD 1080p resolution, 4K content support and Android 14. It is designed for movies, OTT content, gaming and sports, but WZATCO is putting particular emphasis on making the projector easier to set up.
Projector setup can be annoying, especially when you move the device or change its position. The Yuva Spectra comes with Auto Focus, Auto Keystone, Auto Obstacle Avoidance and automatic screen adjustment. In theory, these features should mean less time spent trying to get the picture aligned properly and more time actually watching something.
The projector also has a 270-degree rotating design. This gives users more freedom over where they place it and the direction in which they project the image. That could be useful in smaller rooms where finding the perfect position for a conventional projector is not always easy.
The Yuva Spectra runs Android 14 and supports more than 8,000 apps, according to WZATCO. It can therefore work as a standalone entertainment device, so users do not necessarily need to connect another streaming device just to access their content.
It supports 4K content, although the projector’s native resolution is 1080p. That means the projector can accept and process 4K content, but it does not display it at native 4K resolution.
WZATCO has included dual 5W stereo speakers for sound. They should be adequate for everyday viewing, but buyers looking for a proper home cinema setup will likely still prefer a dedicated soundbar or speaker system.
The portable design is another advantage over a large television. You can set it up in the living room for a movie night and move it to another room when needed. The 120-inch maximum screen size also gives it a clear size advantage over most TVs in this price range.
The WZATCO Yuva Spectra is available through WZATCO’s website and Amazon India at an introductory price of ₹13,990. Its listed MRP is ₹26,990, although the company says actual pricing and promotional offers can vary between platforms.
At ₹13,990, the Yuva Spectra is targeting buyers who want a genuinely large screen without spending the money required for a very large TV. Its automatic setup features could also make it more appealing to first-time projector buyers.
The real test will be brightness and picture quality in a normal Indian living room. A projector can produce a huge image, but getting that image to look good usually depends heavily on the room and lighting conditions. If the Yuva Spectra performs well there, this could be an interesting budget home cinema option.
