Videocon May Launch a 7 inch Tablet Next Month

This time, most of the companies are launching their tablets in the market. So Videocon has also decided to come up in the race. Company is now planning to launch an Android based 7 inch tablet in Indian market.

“Videocon Mobile is currently testing a prototype of Android 2.3 based 7 inch tablet and may launch it in July.” The size of tablet is 7 inch because Company thinks that this size tablets are acceptable in India. Videocon Mobile had forayed into the Android market with the launch of Videocon Zeus smart phone last year.

Some of smart phones in Videocon mobiles’ kitty are V2950, V1750, V7500 and V1410.

Videocon is a big name in electronics market in India but it does not share good in mobile market. Now company want to increase its mobile division sales. This is the reason why company is planning for tablet.

In past few months tablet market has seen good growth in India with so many companies in the market. Many electronics companies have already started manufacturing tablets with attractive features.
