Few weeks back, Moto X3 was leaked online. Now, we saw two new Moto phones of its G series. Moto G4 Plus and Moto G 4th Gen have been leaked online. Moto G4 Plus was leaked in a photo but specs of Moto G 4th Gen was confirmed by a Twitter user. While we cannot confirm if these data are right, we also cannot deny the possibility.
Moto G4 Plus has been leaked online by reliable leakster @evleaks. He only posted the picture of bottom portion of the front-panel which reveals a physical home button.

Even though specs have not been disclosed by this tweet, we saw the glimpse of design. this phone is expected to come with fingerprint sensor. This is why, company has added a physical home button which likely includes a fingerprint scanner. This design also suggests that company is dropping its tradition Moto G design. This will be the first Moto G series phone with physical home button and fingerprint. It is not clear whether company is adopting metallic design for this phone or plans to use the plastic body.
Chen Xudong, SVP of Lenovo and president for Lenovo China and Asia Pacific, also revealed that future Moto phones will be packed with fingerprint sensor. This is the reason we suspected the end of Motorola’s entry level smartphone Moto E. He said that premium device will be launched under Moto brand while entry-level and mid-range devices will be under Lenovo brand.
Previous Moto G Phone Moto G 3rd Gen was successful due to its overall great performance. But Xiaomi and Letv have made this segment so competitive. Now, we have smartphones with fingerprint sensor, Metal unibody design, large battery and good camera. While Moto phones are known for good performance, company should also now focus on bringing more specs on paper to compete with existing market leader on this segment.

It is also not clear why this phone is Moto G4 Plus. Company never used this kind of naming convention. But we can also expect that Moto G4 will also exist and this phone will be a variant of Moto G4. Most probably G4 Plus will have larger display with slightly powerful specs.
In a different tweet, we also found info about Moto G 4th gen. This tweet confirmed the specs of Moto G 4th gen along with specs of Moto G4 Plus. While the Tweet calls this phone Moto G Plus, we can expect these phone to be Moto G4 Plus.
Leaked specs of Moto G 4th generation are 5.5-inch display, 16 GB storage, 13 MP camera. It will be available in both black and white colors for 240 Euro.o Moto G4 Plus will come with 5.5 inch display, 16 MP camera, 16 GB storage for 280 Euro.
We will have to wait for few more leaks to know more about its design and specifications. It has been a long time since Motorola announced any smartphone. So, we can expect the launch of next Motorola phone soon.
