Samsung has officially announced its next Galaxy Note Flaghip at IFA 2014 Berlin. This fourth generation Galaxy Note is dubbed as Galaxy Note 4. It comes with new metallic finish body.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 featurs a 5.7 inch SUPER AMOLED QHD display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution and pixel density of 515ppi. Screen is also protected with scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor with Adreno 420 GPU or Exynos 5433 octa-core processor (1.9GHz quad-core+1.3GHz quad-core), depending upon the country.
Note 4 will be available in three different storage options: 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. All models comes with microSD card to expand storage up to 128 GB.
Galaxy Note 4 runs on Android kitkat 4.4.4 with TouchWix UI at top. It features a 16 megapixel Sony IMX240 camera sensor with dual LED flash and image stabilization. Rear camera is also capable of recording 4K UHD videos @30fps. Other camera features include image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, image stabilization, panorama and HDR.
It also has a 3.7 megapixel front camera which can capture images and record videos in WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels).
Galaxy Note 4 also features a fingerprint scanner similar to Galaxy S5 but with expanded functionality. It can be used to lock screen, private mode authentication, Samsung account verification, PayPal account verification and sign in to web. Samsung has also redesigned the S Pen Stylus for better grip. Device is also packed with heart rate monitor.
Connectivity features of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS with GLOSNASS and 4G LTE support. It is packed with 3220 mAh battery with optional Qi wireless charging panel.

It will be available starting from October. Pricind details of the smarthphone will be announced at the time of launch. It will be available in frosted white, charcoal black, bronze gold and blossom pink colors.
