Spider-Man is one of the most iconic and beloved superheroes of all time. What started as a comic book character created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in the early 1960s has now become a global franchise spanning movies, animated series, merchandise, and of course—video games. Over the decades, Spider-Man has swung his way into the world of gaming, appearing in a wide range of titles across consoles, PCs, and mobile platforms. Many fans might be surprised to know that the very first Spider-Man video game was released way back in 1982. The game was released in 1982 by Parker Brothers. It was both the first video game to feature Spider-Man and the first Marvel Comics-based video game.
