Change Name in TrueCaller
For changing your name on TrueCaller, you need to use the TrueCaller app on your phone.
If you have never used TrueCaller, download the app from PlayStore or App Store depending on the phone you use. Once, you download the TrueCaller app, it asks you to select the phone number and create an account. If you have a dual SIM phone, select the phone number for which you wish to change the name on TrueCaller. If you already had an account with the same phone number, it will log in. Otherwise, it will ask you to enter your personal details including your name and email.
After your profile has been created, this name will be shown for your number.
If TrueCaller didn’t ask for your personal details but directly sent you to the app dashboard, you already had an account. So, you need to review your profile details and see if you have the wrong name in your TrueCaller profile. For this, click on the hamburger icon at the top left corner. Then click on the edit icon at the left of your phone number. On the next Screen, you can change the name and save the profile details.
After your data is saved, it will start showing the new name you saved on your profile. It may take up to two days before the new name starts appearing for your phone number.
