Panasonic Launches Hollywood-tuned 4K OLED TVs in India

Panasonic India has launched new lineup of OLED and LED TVs in India. The OLED TV models start at Rs. 2,99,000 and includes 55-inch FZ950 model and the 65-inch FZ1000 model. The 4K LED series starts at Rs. 65000.

These new OLED TVs run on linux based Firefox operating system that the company calls My Home Screen 3.0. You have most of the popular content apps already available. The UI allows users navigate through apps faster and you can also customise it.

The OLED TVs come with Hexa Chrome Drive Pro technology that helps in offering true colors. Panasonic claims that its OLED TVs can reproduce 98% of 1 billion colors correctly. Other notable features are Absolute Black Filter, Super Bright Panel Ultra Fine Tuning Technology and Dynamic Blade Speakers.

“We are working closely with Hollywood giant Deluxe to ensure that the technical accuracy of the award winning TVs matches the filmmaker’s creative intent,” said Neeraj Bahl, Associate Director-Business Group Head, Consumer Electronic, Panasonic India.

The most notable feature was the swipe and share mechanism. It allows users share content between the TV and other smart-devices over the home network by just swiping. The TVs also feature two-way Bluetooth audio link function that lets users play music via a smart-device on the TV speakers.
