Opera Offers Free Internet For Watching Ads

Browser maker Opera Software has jumped into mobile advertising market and introduced Sponsored web pages. This new service offers free mobile internet for watching sponsored pages.

Opera confirms that advertisers will work with operators to provide ads for viewers. For watching these ads, users will be rewarded with free mobile Internet access or an hour of Twitter. It is worth to note that free internet an only be redeemed inside Opera browser. So, you cannot use this free Internet to access apps.

“Sponsored Web Pass gives operators a unique channel to partner with the advertisers and content providers who are already driving traffic across their networks, and helps both parties to participate in monetization of that traffic,” said Nuno Sitima, SVP of Business Development at Opera Software. “This is an excellent way for operators to bring new users onto the mobile internet while introducing them to new, easy-to-understand data packages.”

This new offer will enable operators in increasing their revenue and Opera will get more users.
