Xiaomi India has officially launched the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G Series in the Indian market. The new lineup includes two smartphones, the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G and the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G. These phones focus on imaging, durability, battery life, and long-term software support.
REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G Series is designed for users who want reliability. The phones can survive drops from heights of up to 2.5 meters. The series also carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. They can survive water immersion up to 2 meters for 24 hours. Xiaomi has added 17 waterproof structural elements, along with HydroTouch 2.0, which ensures accurate touch response even when the screen or fingers are wet.
Both smartphones feature a 6.83-inch near-borderless display with a peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits. The display supports 3840Hz PWM dimming and comes with triple TÜV certifications for eye comfort. These phones also support 12-bit color depth, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection is also there to keep display protected.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. It also introduces the Xiaomi IceLoop cooling system to the REDMI Note series for the first time. Xiaomi claims this is the only LHP cooling solution in its price segment and offers up to three times better heat transfer for sustained gaming and heavy usage. The REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset.
These phones come with Xiaomi Hyper OS 2 based on Android 15 out of the box. The company also promises 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates. Both models support Google Gemini and Circle to Search with Google. The Pro+ variant also includes Xiaomi HyperAI for more advanced AI-driven features.
The most notable feature of the phone is its 200MasterPixel camera system. Both models feature a 200MP HPE image sensor, which is making its global debut. The sensor uses a large 1/1.4-inch size and an f/1.65 aperture. The camera supports up to 4x optical-level in-sensor zoom, which helps capture detailed photos without major quality loss. Xiaomi has also added an 8 megapixels ultra-wide-angle camera with a Sony IMX355 sensor. The Note 15 Pro 5G has a 20 megapixels front camera, and the Note 15 Pro+ 5G has a 32MP front-facing camera.
Audio performance is also good. Xiaomi claims up to a 400 percent volume increase for clearer and louder sound. These phones also have an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IR sensor. Xiaomi has also introduced Offline Communication on these devices. This feature allows kilometer-level voice communication even without cellular network coverage, which can be useful during treks or emergencies. The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G further includes the Xiaomi Surge T1S Tuner, which improves Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and cellular performance in challenging locations like elevators and basements.
REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G comes with a 6,500mAh EV grade Silicon-Carbon battery and supports 100W Xiaomi HyperCharge along with 22.5W reverse fast charging. The REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G features a 6,580mAh EV grade Silicon-Carbon battery, and supports 45W fast charging.
Pricing and Availability
The REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model. The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G is priced at Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, Rs. 39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model, and Rs. 43,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model.
As part of pre-booking offers, Xiaomi is providing a one-year screen replacement on both the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G and the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G. Customers who pre-book the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G will also receive the Redmi Watch Move at no extra cost.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G will be available in Coffee Mocha, Mirage Blue, and Carbon Black color options. The REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G will be sold in Silver Ash, Mirage Blue, and Carbon Black.
Both smartphones will go on sale starting February 4, 2026. They will be available via mi.com, amazon.in, and authorized retail stores across India.
