Right now, the social media platform X and its AI chatbot Grok are not working properly for many users in multiple regions. Reports on outage tracking sites like Downdetector show a large spike in problem reports for both the X website and app. Users are, blank screens, or feeds not loading when they try to open the platform. Website users are seeing Error Time Out screen of Cloudflare whule trying to access X.

Update: Now CloudFare error screen is gone, but users are still facing issues while accessing the X feed.
Grok is also facing issues at the same time, with users unable to use the chatbot as expected.

There are signs that these disruptions could be related to problems with Cloudflare.

When I checked the CloudFlare service status page, it seems Cloudflare has acknowledged the issue and is working on to fix that.

Update: CloudFlare has confirmed that a fix has been implemented.
In past outages, X and other major services, such as ChatGPT and other apps, experienced widespread errors when Cloudflare’s network faced faults and unusual traffic patterns.
There is no clear information on what caused the service disruption. We are looking into the matter and will update the article when we have more information to share.
