Reports on outage tracking sites like Downdetector show a large spike in problem reports for both the X website and app. Users are seeing blank screens or feeds not loading when they try to open the platform. Website users are seeing the Error Time Out screen of Cloudflare while trying to access X.
Update: Now CloudFare error screen is gone, but users are still facing issues while accessing the X feed.

Grok is also facing issues at the same time, with users unable to use the chatbot as expected.
There are signs that these disruptions could be related to problems with Cloudflare. It is because Cloudflare is also facing issues.
When I checked the CloudFlare service status page, it seems Cloudflare has acknowledged the issue and is working on to fix that.

Update 3: Cloudflare has shared a clarification on the outage. The company confirmed that the issue affecting X and Grok was not related to Cloudflare.
In past outages, X and other major services, such as ChatGPT and other apps, experienced widespread errors when Cloudflare’s network faced faults and unusual traffic patterns.
