realme has started teasing its next smartphone in India, the realme P4 Power 5G. The company is clearly pushing this phone as a battery-first device, and the early details suggest that power users are the main target this time.

The biggest talking point is the battery. realme’s teaser uses the phrase “mAAAAAhsive” battery and claims up to 1.5 days of usage on a single charge. While the brand has not officially confirmed the exact capacity, multiple reports point towards a huge 10,000mAh battery. If true, this would make it one of the largest batteries seen in a mainstream smartphone in India.

Despite the large battery, realme is promising a compact design. The device is said to weigh around 218 grams. That is still heavy compared to regular smartphones, but it is reasonable for a phone built around a massive battery. The company is calling it “pocket-friendly,” which suggests it will not feel overly bulky.

Realme is also promising good performance. The company claims the phone can maintain a consistent high refresh rate without dropping to 60Hz to save power. It also promises stable frame rates and controlled temperatures, even when the battery drops to 10 percent.

One interesting claim is the “8 years” longevity promise. realme has not explained whether this refers to battery lifespan, hardware durability, or software support. This is something buyers should wait to understand clearly, as such claims can mean very different things in real-world use.

Realme has confirmed that the phone will be available on Flipkart. The launch is expected later this January, and the exact date should be announced soon.
