Paytm Checkin has introduced a new flight cancellation option that allows users to cancel eligible bookings and receive a full refund by paying ₹99 at the time of booking. The move comes at a time when flight delays and cancellations are affecting travel plans across the country.
The ₹99 cancellation feature is available as an optional add-on while booking flights on the Paytm Checkin app. It applies to select domestic and international routes and gives travellers the option to secure flexibility in advance. If plans change, users can cancel their flight through the app and claim a full refund under the covered booking.
Paytm Checkin has also announced limited-period flight discounts. The platform is offering a flat 12 percent discount on select domestic destinations such as Goa, Manali, Andaman, Udaipur, Munnar, and Kashmir for honeymoon travellers. For international routes, users can get a flat 10 percent discount on destinations including Bali, Thailand, Maldives, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Dubai. These offers are available through specific promo codes on the app.
Paytm Checkin is also promoting its AI-powered travel planning features. The feature claims to offer personalised itineraries that suggest local experiences, activities, and food options based on the destination.
The company has again highlighted zero convenience fees and transparent pricing on its travel bookings. Users can also opt for the ₹249 Travel Pass, which offers additional discounts on flights and hotels. Other features on the app include real-time flight updates, train booking assurance, and bus travel protection to improve reliability for travellers.
Paytm Checkin was recently launched as a single platform for flight, train, bus, and metro bookings. The app uses a conversational and AI-driven booking experience and aims to simplify travel planning by bringing multiple services under one interface.
