Dispatch, the new superhero workplace comedy game by AdHoc Studio, has achieved an impressive milestone. The game has sold over one million copies in just 10 days after its launch on October 22, 2025. It is currently available for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.

Dispatch is an episodic narrative-driven game priced at $29.99. It launched with Episodes 1 and 2, and new episodes are being released weekly as free updates. Episodes 5 and 6 are set to release on November 5, followed by Episodes 7 and 8 on November 12.

In Dispatch, players step into the role of Robert Robertson, a retired superhero once known as “Mecha Man.” He now works as a dispatcher managing a team of reformed villains who have turned into heroes. The game combines humor, storytelling, and light management mechanics to deliver a unique experience. It explores the behind-the-scenes life of superheroes in a world where not everything is about saving the day.
The one million sales milestone is a huge success for AdHoc Studio, a relatively young studio formed by former Telltale Games developers. The positive response shows that players are still interested in story-driven games, especially those offering something different from traditional superhero action titles. The strong start also gives AdHoc Studio a solid foundation for future projects in the same genre.
Interestingly, the milestone comes even before all the episodes have been released. This shows the strong word-of-mouth and growing fanbase the game has built in just a short time. Dispatch’s unique mix of comedy, episodic storytelling, and emotional depth has clearly connected with players.
With Episodes 5 and 6 coming soon, it will be interesting to see how the story unfolds and whether the game can maintain its momentum as more content arrives. The complete season will end with Episode 8 on November 12.
