Battlefield 6 has reportedly crossed the 10 million sales mark, based on new data from Alinea Analytics. These are not official figures from EA, but if accurate, the milestone makes it one of the best-performing entries in the Battlefield series in recent years. The game already became the biggest launch in the franchise’s history earlier this year with over 7 million copies sold at release.
At launch, Battlefield 6 drew over 747,000 concurrent players on Steam, according to Techlomedia’s Steam chart tracking. While that number has declined since, it still remains among the top five most played games on the platform. Fans have praised its large-scale combat, destructible maps, and refined gunplay.
Rhys Elliot from Alinea Analytics shared that the game’s sales performance has been strong, especially on PC, but it still might not be enough to surpass Call of Duty’s market dominance. “Battlefield 6 has done incredibly well, particularly among core PC players,” Elliot said. “However, Call of Duty continues to attract a broader, multi-platform audience.”

Elliot added that Battlefield 6’s positive reception is largely due to EA’s focus on improving gameplay stability and balance. On the other hand, Call of Duty is facing growing criticism for repetitive yearly releases and an overreliance on cosmetic-driven updates.
Even if it does not outsell Call of Duty, Battlefield 6’s turnaround is impressive. The game’s improved reception, stable player base, and consistent updates show EA’s commitment to rebuilding the series. Developers have also confirmed that Aim Assist improvements and new content updates are coming soon.
