Microids and developers Virtuallyz Gaming and Microids Studio Paris have announced the release of Syberia Remastered, the modernized edition of the classic adventure game. The game will be available on November 6 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, with a Quest 3 release scheduled for November 13.

Standard physical editions will be offered in North America and Europe for PS5 and Xbox Series. In the United Kingdom, a limited physical edition will also include The Mediabook art book, giving fans a collectible version of the game.

Syberia originally launched over 20 years ago and quickly became a reference in the adventure genre, praised for its unique storytelling, memorable characters, and distinctive art style by Benoît Sokal. This remastered edition updates the game with enhanced 3D visuals, modern controls, and redesigned gameplay, while keeping the core story intact.

Players follow Kate Walker, a lawyer from New York, who travels to a remote village in the French Alps to finalize the sale of an old automaton factory. What starts as a simple legal assignment soon evolves into a journey across snow-covered Eastern Europe, accompanied by Oscar, a one-of-a-kind automaton. Together, they track the elusive inventor Hans Voralberg, who seeks to find the last living mammoths on the mythical island of Syberia.

Syberia Remastered comes with modern graphics. Developer has fully redesigned Iconic locations and characters.Mechanical puzzles have been updated for smoother, more intuitive gameplay. The game also offers improved 3D navigation, fluid controls, and a user-friendly interface.

Syberia Remastered will be available for purchase on November 6 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, with the Quest 3 version following on November 13. Physical editions and a limited collector’s edition will also be available in select regions.
