Coffee Stain Publishing and Coffee Stain Studios have announced that Satisfactory will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on November 4, 2025.
The game was first launched in Early Access on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Humble Store back in June 2020. After years of updates, the full PC version was released on September 10, 2024. Now, console players will also get to enjoy the popular factory-building game.
Satisfactory is a first-person open-world factory-building game. It mixes construction, exploration, and a bit of combat. You can play solo or team up with friends to explore an alien planet and build huge factories.
The main idea of the game is simple. You are sent to a planet by the company FICSIT to gather resources and build massive automated factories. You will use machines, conveyor belts, trucks, trains, and even pipes to move items and liquids. The more you automate, the less manual work you need to do.
In Satisfactory, the planet is full of resources that you can use to expand your factory. You can build tall multi-story structures or spread them wide across the land. Conveyor belts, pipes, and vehicles help keep everything running smoothly.
Exploration also plays an important role. You can go on expeditions to find rare materials, use vehicles and jetpacks to move faster, and be ready to face alien creatures that protect their land.

Satisfactory has already built a huge fan base on PC, and the console release is expected to attract even more players. With its mix of creativity, automation, and exploration, it is one of the most unique factory-building games available today.
