Thomson Launches New TVs and Washing Machines Ahead of Flipkart Big Billion Days

Thomson has expanded its television and washing machine lineup in India ahead of the festive season. The company has introduced new Mini-QD, QLED and Full HD TVs across different screen sizes, along with a new 12kg semi-automatic washing machine. The new products will be available with special offers during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale.

The brand has also announced a Grand Lucky Draw Contest on Flipkart. Customers purchasing eligible Thomson, Kodak or Blaupunkt TVs with a minimum cart value of Rs. 8,499 during the first 10 days of the Big Billion Days sale will get a chance to win additional prizes. The contest will have 10 winners, with one winner selected each day from the 100th eligible customer.

The first-day winner will receive a Tata Punch, while the second-day winner will get a Honda Activa. The remaining winners will receive Thomson LED TVs in screen sizes ranging from 24 inches to 75 inches. The Flipkart Big Billion Days sale starts on October 9, with early access for select customers on October 8. Thomson is also offering an additional 10 percent discount on purchases made using Axis Bank and ICICI Bank cards.

Thomson launches new Mini-QD and QLED TVs

The new Thomson Mini TV is a 55-inch 4K television with Mini-QD display technology. It supports 1.1 billion colours, 550 nits brightness, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The TV also supports 120Hz HSR, VRR and ALLM, making it suitable for gaming as well as sports and other fast-moving content.

For audio, the TV has an 80W Dolby Audio Stereo Box Speaker system with four speakers and Dolby Atmos support. It features a bezel-less AirSlim design and runs on Google TV. Other features include Google Assistant, built-in Chromecast and AirPlay support.

Thomson has also launched a new 65-inch JioTele OS TV with a 4K QLED display, 1.1 billion colours and up to 450 nits brightness. The TV uses JioTele OS and provides access to more than 300 free live TV channels, over 300 JioGames and popular OTT apps through the Jio Store. It also features 48W Dolby Audio stereo speakers, Dolby Digital Plus and a dedicated Sports Mode.

The TV comes with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and a voice-enabled multilingual remote. Connectivity options include three HDMI ports and two USB ports.

Thomson has expanded its Alpha QLED range with a new 50-inch model. It features a bezel-less design, Full HD QLED display and up to 400 nits of brightness. The TV runs Coolita 3.0, which provides access to streaming apps, live channels and pre-installed games. It also features 40W surround sound with multiple sound modes, along with HDMI, USB and Miracast connectivity.

The company has also introduced new 40-inch and 43-inch Full HD Smart TVs. Both models feature Full HD LED displays, A+ Grade panels, 300 nits brightness and a 178-degree viewing angle. They offer 36W stereo sound and include HDMI, USB, VGA, AV and component connectivity.

Thomson launches 12kg semi-automatic washing machine

Alongside the new TVs, Thomson has launched a 12kg semi-automatic washing machine aimed at larger households. The washing machine has a 5-Star energy rating and offers three wash programmes: Gentle, Normal and Strong.

It comes with a Dual Waterfall feature and Rotor Wings pulsator, along with a Magic Filter and Plastic Filter Board. The machine also includes a Soak Function for clothes that require additional soaking.

Other features include a 35-minute wash timer, a 5-minute spin timer and a maximum spin speed of 1,400rpm. It offers multiple water-level options of 87 litres, 59 litres and 46 litres. Castor wheels with rubber pads are also included for easier movement and better stability.

Thomson has also announced festive pricing on its existing washing machine lineup. The company’s 8kg washer starts at Rs. 5,290, while the 7.5kg semi-automatic top-load model starts at Rs. 8,290. The 8kg fully automatic top-load washing machine is available for Rs. 11,490.
