Nvidia has rolled out the final GeForce NOW update for July, adding support for eight more games to its cloud gaming service. The biggest additions this week are Halo: Campaign Evolved and Mistfall Hunter, along with several other new releases.

Alongside the new games, Nvidia is also highlighting GeForce NOW as a way for students to turn everyday laptops into gaming devices without needing high-end hardware. According to the company, Chromebooks, Macs, and Microsoft Surface devices can stream PC games from the cloud with a GeForce NOW membership, eliminating the need for large downloads, updates, or powerful graphics hardware.

Nvidia says this makes it easier for students to play games between classes or after finishing their studies, as games are always updated and ready to launch from the cloud. The company is also recommending its Day Pass option for users who want to try the service before purchasing a full membership.

The following games have been added to GeForce NOW this week:

  • Halo: Campaign Evolved (Steam, Xbox, and PC Game Pass)
  • Mistfall Hunter (Steam)
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (Ubisoft Connect)
  • Sudden Attack Zero Point (Steam)
  • The Ranchers (Steam)
  • Corsair Cove (Steam, Xbox, and PC Game Pass)
  • Funnel Runners (Steam)
  • Pathogenic (Steam)

With July’s updates now complete, Nvidia is expected to announce its GeForce NOW game lineup for August sometime next week.

It is worth noting that GeForce NOW works differently from subscription services like Xbox Game Pass or EA Play. The service does not include access to games by default. Players must already own the supported game on a compatible platform or have access through PC Game Pass where supported. GeForce NOW also has monthly playtime limits depending on the subscription plan.
