ASUS has announced the ASUS Pad T3201 in India to mark the company’s return to the Android tablet market. The new tablet is designed for entertainment, creativity, learning, and productivity. It features a 12.2-inch OLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor, Android 16, and a large 9,000mAh battery.
The ASUS Pad T3201 sports a 12.2-inch 2.8K (2800 x 1840) dual-layer OLED display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel offers up to 2,000 nits peak brightness, covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and comes with TÜV Low Blue Light and Low Flicker certification. It also supports the ASUS Pen 2.0 stylus.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 octa-core processor paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM. It comes in 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage variants. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
The tablet runs Android 16 out of the box. ASUS has also included GlideX for seamless file sharing and collaboration across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices.
It features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The front camera also supports Face Unlock.
For audio, the ASUS Pad includes quad speakers with Dolby Atmos 360° Cinematic Sound. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C 3.0 port with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery 3.0 support.
The tablet packs a 9,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. ASUS claims the bundled charger can charge the battery from 0 to 50% in around 30 minutes.
The tablet measures 6.5mm thick and weighs 523 grams. ASUS also bundles a protective folio case that supports four viewing modes.
ASUS has not revealed the pricing yet and says it will announce it closer to launch.
The ASUS Pad will launch in India on August 6 at 12 PM. It will be available through Flipkart, the ASUS eShop, ASUS and ROG Stores, Reliance Digital, and authorised ASUS retail partners.
