ASUS has announced the India pricing and availability of the ASUS Pad, its new premium Android tablet. The tablet is designed for entertainment, productivity, learning, and creative work. It comes with a large OLED display, a slim design, powerful hardware, and a long-lasting battery.
The ASUS Pad features a 12.2-inch 2.8K dual-layer OLED display with a 2800 x 1840 pixel resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 2,000 nits peak brightness, and covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The display is also TÜV certified for low blue light and low flicker. It supports ASUS Pen 2.0 and newer styluses.
The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM. It is available with 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage options. Users can further expand the storage up to 1TB using a microSD card.
It runs Android 16 out of the box. ASUS also includes its GlideX software, which allows users to share files and work seamlessly across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices using wired or wireless connections.
The tablet includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The front camera also supports face unlock.
For audio, the ASUS Pad features a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos 360-degree cinematic sound. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB 3.0 Type-C port with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery 3.0 support.
The ASUS Pad packs a 9,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. ASUS claims the bundled charger can charge the battery from 0 to 50 percent in around 30 minutes.
The tablet measures 271.1 x 182.4 x 6.5mm and weighs 523g. It has a fiberglass rear panel and ships with a protective case that supports four different viewing modes.
ASUS Pad Price in India
The ASUS Pad comes in two storage variants.
- 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage: Rs. 45,990
- 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage: Rs. 49,990
Buyers can also avail up to 12 months of No Cost EMI, with monthly payments starting at Rs. 3,833 through ASUS Easy Pay financing options.
The ASUS Pad will go on sale in India starting August 6. It will be available via Flipkart, the ASUS eShop, ASUS and ROG Stores, Reliance Digital, and authorised ASUS retail partners.
