HP has launched a large range of new AI-powered products in India, including new business laptops under the EliteBook and ProBook series. The company also introduced new product categories like the HP OmniPad 12 tablet and the HP EliteBoard G1a, which packs a full Windows AI PC inside a keyboard-style design.
The new laptop lineup includes the HP EliteBook X G2 series, HP EliteBook 8 G2 series, and HP ProBook 4 G2 series.
HP EliteBook X G2 Series
The HP EliteBook X G2 series starts at Rs. 2,50,000. It comes in Atmospheric Blue, Eclipse Grey, and Glacier Silver colour options.
The EliteBook X G2 series features a 14-inch WUXGA touchscreen display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution, up to 800 nits brightness, anti-glare coating, 100 percent sRGB coverage, HP Eye Ease, and HP Sure View privacy protection.
HP has launched three models in this series:
- HP EliteBook X G2i with Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor and Intel Arc graphics
- HP EliteBook X G2q with Snapdragon X2 Elite processor and Qualcomm Adreno graphics
- HP EliteBook X G2a with AMD Ryzen AI 7 PRO 450 processor and Radeon 860M graphics
All variants come with 32GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB SSD storage.
The Qualcomm model offers up to 85 TOPS AI performance through the Hexagon NPU, while the AMD version delivers up to 50 TOPS AI performance.
The laptops also include Poly Studio speakers, AI-enhanced microphones, Thunderbolt 4 ports on Intel and AMD models, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C ports, Wi-Fi 7 support, and a spill-resistant keyboard.
HP EliteBook 8 G2 Series
The HP EliteBook 8 G2 series starts at Rs. 2,30,000.
The HP EliteBook 8 G2 lineup includes Intel and AMD variants with 14-inch WUXGA IPS displays and optional touch support.
The AMD model uses Ryzen AI PRO processors, while the Intel version comes with Intel Core Ultra processors and Intel Arc graphics. These laptops support up to 64GB RAM and up to 2TB SSD storage. Select variants qualify as Copilot+ PCs and feature dedicated NPUs for AI workloads with up to 50 TOPS AI performance on AMD models and up to 48 TOPS on Intel models.
HP has equipped the laptops with Poly Studio stereo speakers, AI noise reduction microphones, and a 5MP IR webcam for video calls. Connectivity features include Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C ports, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, and optional NFC support.
The laptops also include HP Wolf Security features like HP Sure Click, HP Sure Sense, HP Sure Recover, and HP Tamper Lock.
HP says the laptops can charge up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
HP ProBook 4 G2 Series
The HP ProBook 4 G2 series starts at Rs. 1,35,000.
The HP ProBook 4 G2 series comes with 14-inch IPS displays featuring a 16:10 aspect ratio. Base models offer WUXGA resolution, while higher-end variants feature 2.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour coverage.
The Intel variants use Intel Core Ultra processors, while AMD models feature Ryzen AI processors with Radeon graphics. The laptops support up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and up to 1TB SSD storage.
HP has also included Poly Studio-tuned speakers, AI-based noise reduction microphones, optional 5MP IR cameras, and AI presence detection.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, USB Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 Ethernet, optional NFC, and optional 4G LTE or 5G connectivity on select models.
Both Intel and AMD variants pack a 56Wh battery and support fast charging up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
