Reliance Jio has introduced a new prepaid option in India called the Youth and Gaming Plan. It is designed for users who spend a lot of time on gaming, streaming, and social media, and want more than just data from a recharge.

The new plan is priced at Rs. 459 and comes with 28 days of validity. It offers:

  • 2GB data per day
  • Extra 5GB high-speed data
  • Total 61GB data over the validity

Once the daily data is used, speeds drop to 64Kbps. Like most Jio plans, it also includes unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day. Users on Jio’s True 5G network can also get unlimited 5G data, depending on availability in their area.

This plan also offers several bundled services. It includes:

  • Access to JioGames Mobile
  • FanCode via JioTV
  • Snapchat+ subscription
  • Three months of JioHotstar mobile plan
  • 50GB storage on JioAICloud

These additions make the plan more like a bundled package for entertainment and casual gaming instead of just a recharge.

It also has the Google Gemini Pro offer. Users can get access to this for 18 months, with a claimed value of Rs. 35,100. This includes advanced AI features along with 5TB of cloud storage. However, Users need to keep an active eligible Jio plan to continue using these benefits. If the recharge is not maintained, access may stop.

It is important to note that all services need to be accessed using the same Jio number. I think it was obvious, but I thought to mention it clearly.

The Youth and Gaming Plan looks attractive. If you actively use gaming apps, streaming platforms, and cloud storage, the plan makes sense. So, evaluate your usage before getting this plan.
