A new roguelite action RPG called Clockfall has been officially announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC. The game is being published by Radical Theory and developed by Rever Games. It will first launch in Early Access on PC via Steam in 2026.

Clockfall puts players in a dark world where their village has been destroyed by forces known as Destiny. A mysterious clock appears in the ruins and traps players in a repeating time loop. You relive the same events again and again, trying to change the outcome each time.

The goal is to break the cycle, defeat enemies, and save your people before time runs out.

What makes Clockfall different is its strong focus on time. Every dungeon run is limited by time. Players need to make smart decisions during each run. You can spend resources to upgrade your character, use resources to extend your time, optimise movement and combat to go deeper.

Clockfall also introduces a second gameplay layer. After dungeon runs, players enter a Village Defense phase. In this phase, you use collected resources to defend your settlement, Face waves of enemies trying to destroy your base, and earn permanent upgrades based on your performance. This system connects both parts of the game.

The game features fast-paced combat with a mix of melee and magic. Players will fight different enemy types, take down large bosses, and unlock new weapons, spells, and abilities. The roguelite system ensures that each run feels different.

Clockfall combines multiple gameplay styles into one system to offer a balance between time management and combat strength. Every decision affects how far you can go in each run.

Clockfall will first release in Early Access on PC in 2026. Console versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will follow.
