OPPO has launched the OPPO K14 5G in India after teasing the device earlier. The new phone joins the company’s K series lineup and focuses on battery life and durability in the budget segment. The device features a large battery, a 120Hz display, and a 5G processor while keeping the starting price under Rs. 20,000.
The OPPO K14 5G comes with a 6.75-inch HD+ display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach up to 1125 nits of peak brightness, which should make it easier to view outdoors. While the refresh rate is high, the display resolution remains HD+. This is common in the budget segment where brands often prioritize smooth scrolling over higher resolution.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. This processor is designed for affordable 5G phones and should handle everyday tasks such as social media, video streaming, and casual gaming without issues. OPPO has also included a 3900mm² VC cooling system, which helps manage heat during longer usage sessions.
The phone offers up to 8GB of RAM along with 8GB of virtual RAM support. Storage goes up to 256GB, and users can expand it up to 1TB using a microSD card.
The phone runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16, bringing the latest version of OPPO’s custom interface.
OPPO K14 5G includes a 50MP main camera along with a 2MP portrait sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. The rear camera supports 1080p video recording at 60fps, which should be enough for basic video recording and social media content.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other connectivity options are 5G NA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C
The device packs a 7000mAh battery and supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.
The phone is 8.61mm thick and weighs 212 grams. It features a matte finish on the back and frame, which should provide a better grip and reduce fingerprints. It also has IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance

The OPPO K14 5G is available in Prism White, Prism Violet, and Icy Blue colours.
Pricing is as follows:
- 6GB + 128GB: Rs. 17,999
- 6GB + 256GB: Rs. 19,999
- 8GB + 256GB: Rs. 21,999
The phone will be available from March 20 at 12 PM through Flipkart, the OPPO India online store, and offline retail stores.
Buyers can get Rs. 1500 instant discount with HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and SBI cards. The phone is also available with up to 3 months of no-cost EMI.
The 7000mAh battery and IP69 protection seem good, but the HD+ resolution display might feel like a compromise. Because we already have several phones with Full HD panels in this segment.
