Beats Electronics has launched the Powerbeats Pro 2 Nike Special Edition in India. The new earbuds are a special collaboration with Nike and mark the first hardware partnership between the two companies since the launch of the standard Powerbeats Pro 2 last year.
The new edition keeps the same internal hardware and performance as the regular model but introduces a unique design inspired by Nike’s sports identity.
The right earbud now features the Nike Swoosh logo, while the left earbud continues to use the Beats “b” logo. The earbuds use Nike’s signature Volt color theme, which is commonly seen on many Nike sports products.
The charging case also gets a special design. It comes in a matte black finish with Volt color speckles. When the case is opened, users will also see the phrase “JUST DO IT” printed on the inside of the lid.
The design still includes wrap-around ear hooks, which help keep the earbuds secure during running, gym sessions, or other intense activities. They are also rated IPX4 for sweat and water resistance.
Internally, the Nike Special Edition uses the same hardware as the regular Powerbeats Pro 2. The earbuds feature Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation along with Transparency mode. This allows users to either block outside noise or stay aware of their surroundings during workouts. Another key feature is the built-in heart rate monitor, which works with the Apple Fitness ecosystem and the Nike Run Club app.
The earbuds also offer up to 45 hours of total battery life with the charging case, making them suitable for long workouts and travel.
The new Nike Special Edition doesn’t introduce any additional hardware improvements over the standard Powerbeats Pro 2. The only difference you see is the exclusive design and branding. So, buyers will get the same performance but with a limited edition aesthetic.
The Powerbeats Pro 2 Nike Special Edition is priced at Rs. 29,900 in India.
The earbuds will be available starting March 20 through online stores, including Apple’s official website. In India, the earbuds will be sold through online channels only.
