OnePlus has launched a new smartphone, the OnePlus 15T, in China. The phone targets users who prefer compact phones without compromising on performance. The device brings a smaller form factor but still packs flagship-level hardware, a big battery, and a strong camera setup.
The OnePlus 15T uses a flat screen with very slim 1.1mm bezels and rounded corners. The phone weighs 194g and is designed with balanced weight distribution for better one-hand use. The back panel uses fiberglass, while the front is protected by OPPO Crystal Shield Glass.
The device also focuses on durability. It comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. OnePlus is offering the phone in three color options including white, brown, and light green variants.
The smartphone comes with a 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 165Hz refresh rate. For eye comfort, it offers very low brightness levels, high-frequency PWM dimming, and low blue light features.
The device is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 3nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 840 GPU. It is a flagship processor and is claimed to deliver strong performance. The device supports up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and comes with a large vapor chamber cooling system to handle heat during gaming.
The phone runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16.
It has a 50MP main Sony sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. It also includes a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens with OIS, offering up to 7x optical-quality zoom. The camera supports 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video recording and up to 8K video recording. On the front, there is a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.
It also includes stereo speakers, USB Type-C audio, an infrared sensor, and support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and multiple navigation systems. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and Beidou.
Despite the compact size, OnePlus has included a large 7500mAh battery. The company claims it can deliver over 10 hours of gaming or more than 40 hours of video playback on a single charge. The phone supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also includes bypass charging and reverse charging support.
The OnePlus 15T is available in three colors: white, brown, and green. Pricing starts at 4299 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB model and goes up to 5699 yuan for the 16GB + 1TB variant. The phone is currently available for order in China and will go on sale starting March 25.
