Squanch Games has delayed the Nintendo Switch 2 version of High On Life 2. The game was earlier planned to release on April 20, but it will now launch on July 1, 2026.
The studio shared that the delay is meant to improve the overall quality of the game. According to the official statement, the team wants to meet its own standards as well as player expectations. The extra development time will be used to polish the experience before release.
High On Life 2 is already available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC. It launched on these platforms on February 13 via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store.
The delay also affects pre-orders. All digital pre-orders for the Switch 2 version will be canceled automatically. Players who placed physical pre-orders do not need to worry, as those orders will remain valid and are expected to ship in July.
