PC gamers can grab a free game right now. Blood and Zombies is currently available at no cost on IndieGala, a platform similar to Steam and GOG. The game usually costs $14.99, so this is a limited-time deal. However, there is no clear end date yet, which means interested players should grab it as soon as possible.

Released in 2022, Blood and Zombies is developed by Wild Monkey and published by Indie.io. It is a first-person shooter with wave-based survival gameplay. Players choose from four survivors and fight against waves of zombies. The goal is simple. Survive as long as possible.

The game also includes base-building elements. Players can set up walls, traps, and turrets to defend against incoming enemies. This adds a bit of strategy on top of the shooting mechanics.

It follows a horde-based shooter style, which was very popular during the Xbox 360 and PS3 era. It is also clearly inspired by games like Left 4 Dead, though it does not reach the same level of quality.

The game has received mixed reviews on Steam. It currently holds a “Mixed” rating with around 57 percent positive feedback from users. Some players like its arcade-style gameplay and say it works well for short play sessions. Others feel the game is a bit rough and lacks polish.

Still, since it is now free, it becomes easier to try without any risk.
