OPPO has officially confirmed the launch date of its next mid-range smartphone in India. The OPPO K14x 5G will launch on February 10. The smartphone will join the company’s popular K series lineup.
After several teasers, OPPO has now shared key details about the phone. The OPPO K14x 5G will pack a 6,500mAh battery, which is larger than the 6,000mAh unit found on the previous K13x. Despite the bigger battery, the phone will continue to support 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.
The OPPO K14x 5G is expected to feature a 6.75-inch HD+ display. The screen is said to offer peak brightness of up to 1125 nits, which should help with outdoor visibility. The phone is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the same processor used in the earlier K13x model. OPPO has also promised 48 months of fluency protection, which means the phone is expected to deliver smooth performance for up to four years with regular use.
OPPO has confirmed a 50MP main rear camera. The company has not revealed details about the secondary sensors yet. OPPO has not mentioned any IP rating or military-grade durability for the K14x 5G. These features were major highlights of the K13x. So we can expect similar durability ratings and certifications in the successor as well.
OPPO has confirmed that the K14x 5G will be available in blue and violet colour options. As for pricing, the phone is expected to be priced around Rs. 15,000. The company will confirm specs and pricing details on February 10.
