vivo has confirmed the launch of its new smartphone, the vivo X200T, in India on January 27. The phone will join the X200 series and will focus heavily on camera performance and flagship-level hardware.

The vivo X200T will feature a triple rear camera setup with ZEISS optics. It includes a 50MP primary camera using the IMX921 sensor with an f/1.57 aperture. Alongside it is a 50MP ultra-wide camera with the JN1 sensor and an f/2.0 aperture. The third camera is a 50MP telephoto sensor with IMX882, an f/2.57 aperture, and a 70mm focal length. vivo says the phone supports up to 100x HyperZoom, which puts the phone in the premium camera phone category.

The device will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. This is expected to deliver strong performance for gaming, photography, and daily tasks. The phone will run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 straight out of the box, which suggests long-term software support and new AI-based features.

According to recent reports, the phone is expected to come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It may feature a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone is also rumoured to pack a large 6200mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

The phone could also feature IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and eSIM support.

After launch, the vivo X200T will be available through Flipkart, the vivo India online store, and offline retail stores across the country. Pricing details are expected to be revealed at the launch event.
