Xiaomi has confirmed that the REDMI Note 15 Pro and REDMI Note 15 Pro+ will launch in India on January 29. The smartphones were unveiled globally earlier this month, after making their debut in China last year. With this launch, Xiaomi is expanding its popular Note series lineup in the Indian market.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ is the top model in the series and comes with a strong focus on durability, performance, and camera hardware. It features a 200MP rear camera and is built using the REDMI Titan structure. The phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and will be available with up to 12GB of RAM, along with support for up to 12GB of virtual RAM. Xiaomi has also included its IceLoop cooling system to manage heat during gaming and heavy usage. The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ packs a 6500mAh silicon carbon battery, supporting 100W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ sports a 6.83-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel supports 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and can reach up to 3200 nits of peak brightness, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro shares many features with the Pro+ model. It also comes with a 200MP rear camera and a similar 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and high-frequency PWM dimming. However, the key difference lies in performance, as the REDMI Note 15 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor instead of a Snapdragon chip.
After launch, the REDMI Note 15 Pro series will be available for purchase via Amazon India, mi.com, and offline retail stores. Xiaomi has also confirmed a launch offer, under which buyers will receive the REDMI Watch Move free for a limited period.
