Motorola has announced its latest smartwatch, the Moto Watch, at CES 2026. The watch clearly focuses on long battery life and serious health tracking.
The most notable feature of the smartwatch is battery life. Motorola claims the 47mm watch can last up to 13 days on a single charge. Even with the always-on OLED display enabled, it should deliver around seven days of use. So, It is ahead of popular options like the Apple Watch Series 11, Pixel Watch 4, and Fitbit Charge 6, which usually need daily charging.
The Moto Watch comes in a 47mm round aluminum body with a 1.43-inch OLED display. The screen is bright and easy to read throughout the day. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to add protection against scratches.
It supports standard 22mm bands, so users can easily change straps to suit their style or comfort. The metal and silicone band options make the watch feel more premium than many budget smartwatches.

Motorola has partnered with Polar, a respected name in sports and fitness tracking, to bring deeper health insights to the Moto Watch. Instead of just counting steps, the watch provides more meaningful data that helps users understand their body better. It has steps, heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and sleep tracking. But it also offers advanced features such as Nightly Recharge, Activity Score, Smart Calories, and Hydration and Medication Reminders. These kinds of insights are usually found on dedicated fitness watches, not general-purpose smartwatches.
Another notable feature is the dual-frequency GPS (L1 + L5). It improves accuracy when you are tracking runs, hikes, or cycling outdoors, especially in urban areas or dense tree cover where single-frequency GPS can struggle.
Moto Watch does not run Wear OS. It uses Motorola’s own open-source software instead, which likely helps with battery life. However, it may limit access to third-party apps and a larger app ecosystem. The watch supports Bluetooth notifications from your phone and offline music storage. It also offers hands-free calls using the built-in microphone and speaker.
The watch carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Moto Watch is set to launch on January 22, 2026, in the United States, with availability expanding to other regions soon after. Motorola has not officially confirmed pricing for markets like India, but we can expect pricing in between Rs. 10000 and Rs. 15000.
