POCO has started teasing its next 5G smartphone in India, the POCO M8 5G. The company has shared early promotional material with the tagline “Designed to Slay,” clearly positioning the phone as a powerful mid-range option.
According to POCO, the M8 5G is built to deliver strong performance and better camera focus. While the company has not revealed full details yet, the teaser confirms that the launch is getting close.
The teaser image shows a familiar POCO design. The phone appears to have a dual-tone finish on the back, similar to what we have seen on POCO X7. The rear camera module also looks clean and simple.
Press renders surfaced last week, reveals three color options and a dual rear camera setup. Based on leaks, the phone is expected to feature a large 6.77-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This should offer smooth scrolling and a good viewing experience for gaming and videos.
The phone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. It may come with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone is also expected to pack a 5520mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. POCO
