Logitech has launched the Signature Slim Solar+ K980 keyboard in India. The keyboard was first introduced globally in September this year. It is a wireless keyboard that charges using any light source, whether sunlight or indoor lighting. This means you do not need to worry about plugging it in for long periods.
The K980 comes with a full-size layout and a laptop-style typing experience. It is designed to support both work and personal tasks. The keyboard uses Logitech’s proprietary Logi LightCharge technology. This combines a light-absorbing strip, an energy-efficient design, and a rechargeable battery that can last up to 10 years. Even in complete darkness, it can run for up to four months once fully charged.
The keyboard is slim and low-profile, perfect for a clean, minimalist workspace. It has a number pad and scissor-switch keys that feel like a laptop. You can connect it to up to three devices using Easy-Switch keys. It works with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Linux, iPadOS, iOS, and Android.
The K980 also supports customization through the Logi Options+ app. You can set Smart Actions and an AI Launch Key to quickly open tools like Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or ChatGPT. For sustainability, the Graphite version uses 70% post-consumer recycled plastic. The off-white variant uses 52% recycled plastic.
