ARC Raiders, the new extraction shooter from Embark Studios, is off to a massive start. The game recorded more than 700,000 concurrent players across all platforms during its first weekend, as officially confirmed by the studio on Twitter.
On Steam alone, ARC Raiders reached a peak of 463,000 concurrent players, according to Techlomedia Gaming’s Steam Chart. This incredible performance even pushed it past Battlefield 6 on the platform’s trending list shortly after launch.
Embark Studios thanked players for the overwhelming response, saying, “The many different ways you play and participate in ARC Raiders have completely blown us away, going far beyond what we ever imagined. You surprise us, you outsmart us, and you keep us on our toes. We wouldn’t have it any other way.” The team added that the community’s creativity and passion continue to inspire them to make the game even better.
