Along with Redmi K90, Redmi also launched Redmi K90 Pro Max in China. This is said to be the most powerful Redmi smartphone to date. The phone comes with top-tier hardware, a large OLED display, and advanced audio and camera technology.

The Redmi K90 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch 2K AMOLED flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3500 nits. The screen supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 12-bit color depth, and 2560Hz touch sampling for smooth visuals and responsive touch feedback. Xiaomi says the display can reproduce up to 68.7 billion colors to offer rich contrast and clarity even in outdoor lighting conditions.

The phone has a glass back and a metal frame. It also has a standout variant that comes in Denim Blue color. It uses third-generation nano-leather technology with a unique blue jeans texture. It is resistant to UV damage, yellowing, and stains.

Redmi K90 Pro Max runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. It also comes with an independent graphics chip D2 and a new GEX module for enhanced visual processing. Xiaomi claims this setup can deliver native PC-level image quality using AI model pre-training for improved lighting and shadow details.

To handle heat efficiently, the device uses Xiaomi’s largest 6700mm² 3D Ice-Sealed Heatsink. This setup combines graphite and thermal gel in a dual-stage design to maintain performance during extended gaming or heavy tasks.

The phone comes with a triple rear camera system led by a 50MP Light Fusion 950 sensor with OIS and Xiaomi AISP 2.0, offering 13.5EV movie-level HDR. It is accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto lens capable of 30cm macro shots.

The front camera is 20MP and supports 4K video recording, while the rear setup can shoot up to 8K resolution.

The K90 Pro Max takes audio seriously with a 2.1-channel speaker system tuned by BOSE. It includes dual symmetrical speakers along with an independent woofer for deep bass and wider sound imaging. Xiaomi says the combination delivers a “live sound” experience with richer details and full-bodied audio, an upgrade over standard stereo setups.

It comes with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11 ad, Bluetooth 5.4, Beidou: B1I + B1C+B2a|GPS: L1+L5|Galileo: E1+E5a, GLONASS: G1|QZSS: L1+L5|NavlC: L5, and USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1, NFC.

The phone packs a 7560mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It also supports 22.5W reverse wired charging. The phone includes Xiaomi’s upgraded Surge P3 charging chip and G2 battery management chip, which work together for faster and more efficient power delivery.

The Redmi K90 Pro Max is available in several configurations and colors, including a special Automobili Lamborghini SQUADRA CORSE Champion Edition that comes with a custom design and box.
