OPPO has introduced its new flagship series: Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. The company revealed these phones in China, with a global launch scheduled for October 28th. The two models look similar at first glance, but there are important differences in display, camera, battery, and accessories. These phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip and backed by advanced cooling,
The Find X9 features a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It offers ultra-narrow 1.15mm bezels, rounded corners, and OPPO Crystal Shield glass protection on both front and back. The Find X9 Pro gets a slightly larger 6.78-inch LTPO micro-curved AMOLED display with the same 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Both displays support 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, Dolby Vision, and reach a peak brightness of up to 3600 nits.

Both smartphones are powered by the Dimensity 9500 3nm processor with the Arm Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU. They come in multiple configurations, offering up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The Find X9 series runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box. The inclusion of an ultra-large VC cooling system helps maintain performance even during long gaming sessions or when recording high-quality 4K videos.

The Find X9 and Find X9 Pro bring a strong focus on photography. The standard Find X9 comes with a 32MP Sony front camera and a triple rear setup consisting of a 50MP main Sony LYT-808 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens using the Sony LYT-600 sensor. The Pro version steps up the imaging system further. It includes a 50MP front camera and a powerful rear setup with a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a massive 200MP periscope telephoto camera using Samsung’s HP5 sensor. Both models also include a multi-spectral lens to enhance image accuracy and detail.
The series introduces the new LUMO Super Pixel Engine, which uses parallel heterogeneous computing to output higher-quality photos directly. OPPO has also focused on video capabilities, offering several new professional features.
The phones support 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR for smooth slow-motion videos with natural skin tones. There is also 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording for creators who prefer professional color grading workflows. Additionally, the Hasselblad Master Tones feature integrates Hasselblad’s signature color styles into the Log pipeline for precise and artistic color output.
OPPO has also unveiled a Hasselblad Professional Imaging Kit designed for the Find X9 Pro. This kit includes a magnetic protective case, Hasselblad teleconverter, magnetic photography handle, shoulder strap, bracket, adapter rings, and other accessories. The professional teleconverter extends the phone’s telephoto lens to an equivalent focal length of 230mm with an f/2.1 aperture. This allows for 4K 60fps HDR super-telephoto video recording and supports super-telephoto Live Photos for capturing high-quality motion photos.

The teleconverter uses a Kepler lens structure with 13 spherical glass elements arranged in three groups and three extra-low dispersion glass elements to reduce aberrations and enhance image clarity. It also includes nine layers of PVD low-reflection coating to minimize glare. The body has a premium all-metal anodized finish and features the iconic Hasselblad logo along with a specially designed lens cap.
Connectivity options include 5G (SA/NSA), Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C. The Find X9 Pro uses a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port. Other features include stereo speakers, four microphones, an X-axis linear motor for better haptic feedback, and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The Find X9 packs a 7025mAh silicon-carbon battery, while the Find X9 Pro includes a larger 7500mAh unit. Both support 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging.
The Find X9 measures 156.98 x 73.93 x 7.99mm and weighs 203g, while the Find X9 Pro is slightly larger at 161.26 x 76.46 x 8.25mm and weighs 224g. The phones also come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance certifications.
