The cult-classic horror game Dementium: The Ward is finally coming to PC. Developer Atooi has announced that the game will launch on October 27 via Steam, just in time for Halloween.
The game was originally released for the Nintendo DS back in 2007 and has made its way across several platforms over the years. It arrived on the 3DS in 2015, the Nintendo Switch in 2023, and most recently on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 earlier this year. Now, PC players will get to experience this eerie classic with modern upgrades.
The game puts you in the shoes of a man who wakes up alone in a deserted hospital, with no memory of how he got there. As you explore its dark corridors, you encounter disturbing creatures, piece together clues, and fight to survive using whatever weapons you can find. Every sound, shadow, and flicker of light adds to the tension, creating a truly unsettling experience.
For the PC version, Atooi has enhanced the visuals and improved the controls while keeping the original’s dark and tense atmosphere intact. It blends survival horror with psychological fear, making it perfect for fans of games like Silent Hill and Amnesia.
