Tokyo Xtreme Racer Launches on September 25 for PC

Tokyo Xtreme Racer is finally ready for its full release. The racing game, set in a futuristic Tokyo, will officially launch on September 25, 2025 for PC via Steam. It will be priced at $49.99 / 6,600 yen, developer Genki confirmed.

The game was first released in Early Access on January 23, 2025. Since then, the developers have collected feedback from players around the world to refine the experience. The team says the final release has been shaped directly by this feedback.

The official launch will bring a number of improvements and additions:

  • New cars and car parts, including popular models like the Lexus RC F Performance Package, Nissan Fairlady Z, Toyota GR Supra RZ, Skyline 2000GT-R, Honda NSX Type S Zero, Civic Type R, Integra Type R, and more.
  • A brand-new chapter with fresh rivals.
  • Balancing and gameplay adjustments based on Early Access feedback.

However, not everything planned will be available at launch. The Replay Feature has been postponed so the team can focus on more story content. Genki also confirmed that the Steam Record Ranking system has been dropped due to concerns about cheating and unfair play.

The development team expressed gratitude to the community, saying the game would not have reached this stage without the passion and support of players. While some features are delayed, the team promises to deliver a polished and complete racing experience on release day.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer will be available worldwide on Steam starting September 25, 2025.
