Sony has launched the Xperia 10 VII, its latest mid-range 5G smartphone. It comes with a 6.1-inch OLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, triple cameras, IP65/IP68 ratings, and a 5,000mAh battery. The phone is the successor to last year’s Xperia 10 VI and brings several upgrades.

The Xperia 10 VII features a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color gamut with 10-bit tonal gradation.

It is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Internal storage can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD. The phone runs Android 15 and will receive up to four OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

The device comes with a 50MP main camera with Sony’s Exmor RS sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP front camera. It also has a dedicated camera shutter button, which makes shooting easier.

The phone is slim and light at 168 grams. It measures 153x72x8.3 mm and offers IP65/IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, and 360 Reality Audio support. Connectivity options cover 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi ac, and USB Type-C. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with up to 30W fast charging. It also supports Xperia’s Adaptive Charging, Battery Care, and STAMINA mode.

The Sony Xperia 10 VII comes in White, Turquoise, and Charcoal Black. Pricing is set at 449 Euros and 399 GBP. It is now available for order and will begin rolling out in Europe and the UK later this September.
