Nothing has introduced the CMF Headphone Pro, the first over-ear headphones under its CMF brand. The headphones come with a modular design, adaptive noise cancellation, and long battery life.

The CMF Headphone Pro comes with a design focused on personalization. The ear cushions are replaceable and removable. So, users can mix and match colors as per their preference.

The headphones also feature multiple physical controls. A new Energy Slider lets users adjust bass and treble levels. A Roller control can manage volume with rotation, play or pause music with a short press, and enable or disable noise cancellation with a long press.

There is also a configurable Button that can act as an AI shortcut. It can be set to access services like ChatGPT, switch ANC modes, or control the microphone.

The headphones are available in Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Light Green. Extra ear cushion colors will be sold separately.

The CMF Headphone Pro packs 40mm custom dynamic drivers. It supports the LDAC codec and is Hi-Res certified for both wired and wireless use. The maximum data rate goes up to 990 kbps. It also includes Personal Sound technology powered by Audiodo™, which customizes the sound output based on the user’s hearing profile.

It also offers Spatial Audio with Cinema and Concert modes for a 3D sound effect.

All features, including controls and ChatGPT integration, can be managed through the Nothing X app.

For noise cancellation, the headphones support up to 40dB Adaptive ANC. The setup uses three hybrid microphones with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) for clear voice calls. It also comes with Adaptive ANC that adjusts automatically to the environment and a Transparency Mode for hearing surrounding sounds.

It has Bluetooth 5.4 and supports both Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair. It also offers a low-latency mode that reduces the delay to under 120ms. This makes it suitable for gaming and video streaming.

The headphones can last up to 100 hours without ANC and up to 50 hours with ANC enabled. With LDAC, the playback time is slightly lower but still impressive. It also supports fast charging. A 5-minute charge can deliver up to 5 hours of playback. The device can also charge directly from a compatible smartphone.

Pricing and Availability

The CMF Headphone Pro is priced at USD 99 / GBP 79 / EUR 99. It will be available through nothing.tech and select retailers. The US launch is set for October 7th. Details about the India launch have not been announced yet.
