Apple has officially introduced the Apple Watch Ultra 3, the most advanced Apple Watch to date. It comes with a larger display, new health insights, improved safety features, and up to 42 hours of battery life. The Watch Ultra 3 is designed for sports, adventure, and everyday use.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 features the largest display ever on an Apple Watch, powered by LTPO3 wide-angle OLED technology. The screen is brighter, has thinner borders, and supports a 1Hz always-on refresh rate, which means you can now see a ticking seconds hand without raising your wrist.

One of the biggest upgrades is satellite communication. Even when you are off the grid, you can text emergency services, share your location, and message friends and family. Emergency SOS via satellite ensures that if you experience a hard fall or car crash, your watch can send your details to emergency services automatically.

It also has 5G connectivity. So, you can download music, podcasts, and apps faster. The dual-antenna technology improves reception in weak coverage areas.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 introduces hypertension notifications. Using data from the heart sensor, it can detect signs of chronic high blood pressure over time and alert you. This feature has been developed with large-scale studies and is expected to help millions of people identify undiagnosed hypertension.

Sleep tracking has also been improved with the new Sleep Score. It gives users a clear breakdown of sleep quality, including bedtime consistency and time spent in different sleep stages, offering easy insights to improve rest.

For fitness enthusiasts, the new Workout Buddy powered by Apple Intelligence provides real-time coaching and motivation. The Workout app has been redesigned with customizable views and easier access to workouts. Runners get the most accurate GPS in a sports watch, cyclists can pair power meters, swimmers get stroke detection and lap counts, and divers can use the Oceanic+ app to turn the watch into a dive computer.

The Ultra 3 delivers up to 42 hours of use on a single charge and can stretch to 72 hours in Low Power Mode. Fast charging gives 12 hours of use in just 15 minutes, making it reliable for long adventures.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is available in natural or black titanium and starts at $799 in the U.S. Customers in more than 50 countries, including India, can pre-order now, with availability starting September 19. New band designs, including updated Trail Loop, Ocean Band, and Alpine Loop, are also available.
