Train Sim World 6 introduces three new routes across the US, UK, and Germany. In the All Aboard for Hoboken route, players can ride the electrified NJ Transit Morristown Line, traveling between New York and Dover. Trains include the Arrow III EMU, ALP-46, and MultiLevel cars. Deluxe Edition players can drive the NJ Transit ALP-45DP on busy commuter services.
The English Riviera route takes players along the scenic Dawlish Sea Wall in Devon. They can drive GWR Intercity Class 802 and Class 150/2 Sprinter trains between Exeter, Plymouth, and Paignton. Deluxe Edition includes long-distance journeys with the Crosscountry BR CLASS 220.
Germany’s Leipzig – Dresden route features modern ICE-T trains, BR 442 units, and loco-hauled passenger and freight trains. Deluxe Edition players can also operate classic diesel shunting engines like the DB BR 294.
Train Sim World 6 promises an immersive experience. Players must handle random events, equipment failures, and speed restrictions. The game also improves passenger ambience and audio announcements to give a lifelike feel of being on a train.
Players can enjoy different modes. Free Roam allows exploring routes freely. Conductor Mode lets players check tickets and operate passenger doors. The Creators Club enables custom designs with the Livery Designer and Formation Designer, which can be used in Free Roam and shared online.
The Standard Edition includes the three new routes. Deluxe Edition adds extra trains, while the Special Edition also includes additional Train Sim World 6 compatible routes. Previous content from older Train Sim World titles remains compatible with the new release.
Fans of Thomas & Friends can enjoy a dedicated edition with story-based adventures, including the West Somerset Railway add-on and 80th Anniversary Expansion.
Train Sim World 6 continues to expand the world of train simulation, giving players new routes, trains, and challenges across multiple countries. All upgrades from previous versions carry over, making it easy for longtime fans to continue their railway hobby.
Pre-orders are live now, and the game will release on September 30, 2025, across all platforms.
